ABOUT RYAN HATCHER
Passion-Fueled. Safety-Focused. Owner-Operated.
For Ryan Hatcher, cranes aren’t just equipment—they’re a lifelong calling. Raised in the tree industry and inspired by his father’s 30+ years as a crane operator, Ryan grew up with a front-row seat to the kind of discipline, skill, and grit that define great crane work. When he reached high school, he joined his father at the same tree company where his dad had spent decades, eager to learn the ropes and turn a childhood fascination into a full-fledged career.
That early hands-on experience cemented Ryan’s passion for the industry and set him on a path to become a highly skilled and trusted operator. After earning his Associate’s Degree in Arboriculture from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, he returned to the field with not only technical knowledge but a strong network of professionals across construction, tree care, and event rigging.
Over the years, Ryan built a reputation for his calm, can-do attitude on even the most complex job sites. His problem-solving capabilities, paired with a relentless work ethic and commitment to doing the job right, became his trademarks.
Now, with the launch of Hatcher Crane Company, Ryan is putting his name behind a new chapter—one built on decades of hands-on experience, a family legacy of excellence, and an unshakeable commitment to safety and service.
